About

Antioch gives robotics and physical-AI teams a cloud simulation platform for developing, testing, and validating autonomous systems before they ever touch real hardware. Engineers author scenarios locally using Isaac Sim/Isaac Lab and run thousands of them in parallel in the cloud, with pre-built robot and sensor models that auto-calibrate into high-fidelity digital twins. Rather than building its own physics engines or world models, Antioch layers domain-specific tooling โ€” automatic calibration, scenario evaluation, and an agent that learns from failed runs and proposes fixes โ€” on top of general-purpose engines like NVIDIA Omniverse and Isaac Sim/Lab and world models like NVIDIA Cosmos and World Labs. Founded in 2025 by five cofounders, three of whom previously sold their startup Transpose to Chainalysis in 2023, Antioch has raised $40.5M+ across a pre-seed, seed, and new Series A led by Greylock, and already counts Amazon Ring and Launchpad Build AI among its customers.

DailyDropout Take

Robotics teams have long been stuck validating changes on real, expensive hardware while software teams iterate in minutes โ€” Antioch is betting the fix is a flight simulator, not a smarter robot brain. Landing Amazon Ring and Greylock's lead check within a year of its seed suggests the calibration-accuracy pitch is resonating with teams that actually ship hardware. The open question is whether layering tooling on top of NVIDIA's own simulation stack is a durable moat once Omniverse and Cosmos mature further.

Discovery signal: Closed a $32M Series A led by Greylock less than five months after an $8.5M seed, with Amazon Ring already citing close simulation-to-reality accuracy in production use.

What Makes Them Unique

Doesn't build its own physics engines or world models โ€” instead layers domain-specific tooling (automatic digital-twin calibration, scenario evaluation, and a failure-analysis agent) on top of general-purpose engines like NVIDIA Omniverse/Isaac Sim and world models like NVIDIA Cosmos and World Labs.
