Partiful is a mobile-first event planning platform that has become the go-to invitation tool for Gen-Z. Co-founded in 2020 by Shreya Murthy and Joy Tao — who met while working at Palantir and both attended Princeton — the platform turns event invitations into social media-style pages closer to TikTok than email. Hosts can create visual events with animations, set RSVP caps, collect payments via Venmo/PayPal/Cash App, share photos, and send text blast updates — all without requiring guests to download an app. Partiful gained explosive traction, adding 5 million new users in the first half of 2025 alone and averaging 500,000 monthly active users (up 400% year-over-year). Named Google's Best App of 2024 and one of Time's 100 Most Influential Companies of 2025, Partiful is now active in over 100 countries. The company raised $20M in its Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz at a $140M valuation and is beginning to monetize through a Group Order feature powered by an Instacart partnership.
