Background

Alex Finkelstein co-founded Spark Capital in 2005 after stints at Cambridge Associates, Softbank venture funds, and a stint writing television shows for Fox, Discovery, and E!. He is known for backing unglamorous but operationally complex markets, famously spending three years convincing Wayfair's CEO to accept his investment. He was the first investor in Flywire (Nasdaq: FLYW), Talkspace (Nasdaq: TALK), and Wayfair (NYSE: W).
