Background

Johnny Hu, PhD is a Principal at Menlo Ventures investing in biotech and life science companies at the intersection of AI and life sciences. He holds a PhD from Harvard as a National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellow, an MPhil from Cambridge as a Gates Cambridge Scholar, and a summa cum laude AB from Harvard in Chemical and Physical Biology. Previously he was VP at Longitude Capital and developed gene editing technologies licensed by Editas Medicine and Beam Therapeutics.
