Rachel Slaybaugh

Background

Dr. Rachel Slaybaugh is a General Partner at DCVC focused on climate, sustainability, and energy investments. She was previously a tenured Associate Professor of Nuclear Engineering at UC Berkeley, Division Director at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and Program Director at DOE's ARPA-E where she created the nuclear fission program. She holds a BS in nuclear engineering from Penn State and a PhD from University of Wisconsin–Madison.
